On Wednesday, February 24, there was an outstanding editorial in the Wall Street Journal captioned "Why We Need Trial Lawyers."  The article focuses not only on the abominable conduct of Toyota in refusing to recall vehicles they knew were dangerous and defective for nearly 10 years, but also on the limited resources of the FDA, CPSC and other government agencies.  The Wall Street Journal printed this editorial at a time when insurance companies are trying to limit the rights of patients who are seriously injured or killed through medical malpractice.
