The following are some of Mr. Cornoni's recent settlements and verdicts:

• A verdict of nearly $4.2 Million for a patron of a DC nightclub who was attacked and severely beaten as he exited the nightclub.  Testimony at trial indicated that the nightclub refused to provide security guards for patrons exiting the nightclub, even though the nightclub knew of numerous assaults on patrons and others that took place immediately outside the doors of the nightclub.
  
• A $2,750,000 settlement for a woman, a pedestrian, who suffered a degloving injury to her leg when she was struck by a bus while in a crosswalk.
• A $1,000,000 settlement on behalf of a small child who tragically drowned at a swimming pool.
  
• A settlement of  $875,000 on behalf of a construction worker who was struck by a backhoe and sustained a fractured pelvis.
• A $750,000 settlement on behalf of the estate of an underage student who tragically died as a result of being inappropriately served alcohol.
  
• A $500,000 settlement on behalf of a minor who was sexually assaulted at a group home facility.
• A settlement of $425,000 on behalf of the estate of an elderly woman who died as a result of a tragic automobile collision.  The settlement represented the highest recorded resolution in a wrongful death case in the rural county of Preston, West Virginia.
• A $400,000 settlement on behalf of a mentally handicapped individual who suffered numerous forms of mistreatment and poor medical care while residing at a group home facility in the District of Columbia.
• A $325,000 settlement on behalf of a woman who was sexually harassed by her employer at work.
  
• A $270,000 jury verdict on behalf of a Catholic priest who suffered a serious back injury as a result of an automobile collision in the District of Columbia.
  
• A jury verdict of $150,000 in a Maryland automobile collision on behalf of a man who suffered serious injuries to his neck and back.
