Paul Cornoni has dedicated his practice exclusively to protecting the rights of those who have been severely injured due to the wrong doings of others.  In doing so, Mr. Cornoni has participated in the litigation of several successful claims on behalf of Plaintiffs, including a recent case noted in Metro Verdicts Monthly.  As a result of these efforts, Mr. Cornoni has recently been elected to the Board of Governors of the District of Columbia Trial Lawyers Association.

Paul Cornoni is a cum laude graduate of Boston College and received his J.D. with honors from the George Washington University Law School. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Massachusetts.

Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Cornoni served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ann O'Regan Keary, Deputy Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division, District of Columbia Superior Court. Mr. Cornoni clerked for Judge Keary during the 2003-2004 judicial term, immediately following graduation from the George Washington University Law School.

While in law school, Mr. Cornoni was deeply involved in the DC Law Students in Court Program. Through his involvement with this clinic, Mr. Cornoni represented numerous indigent persons in criminal and civil matters before the District of Columbia Superior Court. Mr. Cornoni served as a member of the George Washington University Law School Public Contracts Journal. Mr. Cornoni also served as a member of the Prisoner's Project, a law school run program that provided legal advice and representation to disadvantage prisoners. In addition, Mr. Cornoni gained valuable legal experience as a summer associate at the law firm of Nutter, McClennen & Fish, located in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Maryland State's Attorney's Office.

Mr. Cornoni graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Boston College in 2000. While at Boston College, Mr. Cornoni was a four-year scholarship member of the Men's Division 1 Soccer team. Mr. Cornoni was selected as team captain for both the 1998 and 1999 seasons. In addition, Mr. Cornoni was selected as a Big East Conference Academic All-Star for all four seasons at the Heights. Mr. Cornoni was the 1999 recipient of the Tom McElroy Award, an award given to the student athlete at Boston College who best represents ideals of character, leadership, and achievement.

Mr. Cornoni is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations, including, the American Association for Justice, the District of Columbia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Maryland Bar Association and the Boston College Alumni Association.
